So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...
Lenovo Thinkpad W530 Review

One of the longest and most enduring brands in computers is Thinkpad. Originally developed by IBM in the USA, Thinkpad notebook computers are now...
The 9400 bios detects the 6800 ultra and all you need to physically do is remove the a post near the right of the keyboard and bend the heatpipe...You can use a 6 cell battery but it will not last long with 6800u's power requirements...You can also use 90w power supply although you have to set the powermizer settings to balanced....it would be best to at least get the 130 W adapter if you want to do this but its all up to how cheap you are
The 6800u uses 1.38v stock which leaves quite a bit of room for overclocking...if you aren't comfortable with the highest stable clocks you get with 1.38v then sure you COULD increase the voltage...Start with upping the clock speed though...I'm running 500/1200 @ stock volt...haven't seen how high I could get with this voltage stable but so many ppl have whored out the 6800u so why should I?
Edit: The threshold of these cards is 101 but I'd prefer my card staying under 90 (low 90's max no matter what) so whatever you choose to do then try to make sure you're within that range I guess...Of course now my card doesn't even reach 65 hardly and thats under heavy stress...
Guys - I just bought a 6800 ultra for my 9400. Apart from desoldering the post is it an easy swap in and out(from an X1400)? Is it just a mini PCI-E slot?
thats all I had to do when i put a 6800 ultra.. oh and u may need to snap the little plastic bit in top left hand corner for the heat sink to fit in, u'll see what i mean when u try put it in
