the release has been delayed till june (thus the name change from 6.04 to 6.06) in order to be able to do more quality testing so that they are not stuck with the terrible issues they had on the Breezy release.

I've been a long time a Debian desktop user , but now I ordered my first laptop I want to install Ubuntu on it, so I have a question regarding the releases' system.
If I download and install Dapper Flight 6, by making 'apt-get update' and 'apt-get upgrade' till the day Dapper Drake 6.06 comes out, will I have Dapper Drake at that day or will I have to download and install Drapper Drake 6.06 ?

i think you should be fine if you do a dist-upgrade in which case you will be at Dapper final. however, if they change something major between now and then, doing a dist-upgrade can break your system, so you'll have to install fresh anyway.
