Sager screen?? WTF

I got my sager 4780 about 2 months ago and now when I start up, I cannot even see the bios info.. I can bearly see the windows xp screen. I have turned up my screen brightness and it doesent have any affrect on it. I have a 2 year warrenty on it so I am wondering what I should do? I also have 2 dead pixels that are really gay. What should I do? Send it back?

I'd call them immediately. That shouldn't happen.

Sounds like the backlight could be gone, I get a similar effect when I hold down the 'lid down' button, I can vaguely see the image but it's extremely dark. Unless there's some simple mechanical problem like the button getting stuck down in some way (like having a sticker stuck over the top of it ) there's likely nothing you can do and it would be wiser to send it back than risk voiding a good warranty doing anything else.

when i took apart my 5680 I remember seeing a ribon (like the keyboard ribbon) is this the video cable to the LCD? if it is maybe your video ribon has come loose.

That's not gay Chistine..........that is positively FLAMING pixels. Stuff like that belongs in Vermont or San Franciso, not on a Sager. A Sony...........most definetly.
