Hello all. I tried searching for this, but didn't have much luck. I have a Dell Latitude CPi A series. P2, blah blah blah. Heres my problem, everyonce in a while at random, the screen will just go white. Sometimes it will offere a warning flicker or 2 first, and if I jiggle the screen a bit, it will stay running, but if I ignore the warning flicker, or it doesn't give me one, the screen goes white. It sort of fades to white. Real weird. The fact that jiggling the screen helps leads my to think it's not a software issue. Maybe a loose connector? I've had it apart and the connector *looked* ok to me, but I'm a motorcycle mechanic, so what do I know? A tech type friend of mine mentioned he's heard of this problem before with Dells. Anyone got a clue? Is it something easily/cheaply repairable? I hate to buy a new one, because as old as it is, this one serves me just fine. I only hope I get done writing this before it goes white aga.....

Had the same problem with a Fujitsu C2111 eventually (a month to 3 months) down the line it will hit you often and there wont be a quick fix. its a defective screen good luck convincing tech support to replacing it for you if your on warrenty and if not you could be looking at a $100-400 cost for replacing the screen
