Well they've got on in the Sager forums so I figured I'd start one here for us.

Here are my two cars. One is a 2003 Mustang GT and the other is a 2004 SVT Focus.

Have at it!

Dood, the Tri-Ax shifter is the SHIZNIT! I've got one on my stang too.

It was so nice traveling right by Steeda twice a month while visiting accounts in South Florida. What a great bunch of peeps and what an amazing shop they've got!

Craig, how fast is that Focus svt? How does it compare to the stang?

Man I hate to admit it but...

It would be a very, very close race to be sure. The handling is incredible on this little monster (SVTf). I've not yet really laid into it as she's just crossed 150 miles on the odometer but my feelings are that this car would be very close in a straight line with the Stang. Once they hit a corner, the SVT would annihilate the Pony. Hands down. In fact, last time I was at Seabring with my club (www.chinmotorsports.com) there was a guy there running circles around me in his stock 3 door SVTf.

I'm very happy with the SVTf for fit, and comfort. The Ford guys take a rash of heat about their interiors but SVT sure raises the bar in their vehicles. They've rubber coated all of the radio and other dash knobs, put in leather seats, kick arse sun roof and of course, the kickin' Audiophile system, ect, ect.

My father worked for Ford for nearly 35 years so I get what they call the A-Plan purchase option. Basically less than dealer cost PLUS any incentives (rebates) PLUS no dealer fees.

The SVTf was $21k and I ended up getting it for $17k. The Mustang was originally $26k and I got it for $18,500. They have more profit built into the Ponies as you can see.

Next for me (or my wife probably) will be the '05 Stang or a Lightning. She's not hip on the F150 but I could pass her my '03 Stang and I think the deal would be sealed.

I wonder how you got all this with a wife at the ignore trigger all the time. Yeah the focus would sure stomp the stang, but we are talking different classes though. They didn't have a lot of SVT stuff going on it 99, that is why I got the stang. Wish I would have waited. I have taken it up to 135mph on I-5 south of Seattle. But going those speeds, I am like almost ****ting my pants because basically you are passing people standing still. You are going twice thier speed. Your heart kind of skips a beat. Never again did I go over 100 after that. Although, I am sure my car would have gone a bit faster, just had to lay off the throttle.

I almost had my wife last year ready to let me buy a lightning, but of course you have to think responsible once you have children. I test drove that badboy. What a fast truck. That thing has a 5.4 liter with a supercharger!!!. It has way more power than my stang. I was slammed back into the seat on that test drive.

Whenever you want to "PASS" me that SVT, let me know

1990 Mercury Sable with 238k, paint job that looks like a group of pre-schoolers took 180 grain sandpaper to it, and zero suspension. i can make this thing out-hop any pimpmobile with $5k of hydrolics. it can bring traffic to a stop on the interstate when hopping at 80mph...

it is hands down the funniest thing you will ever see...

the car is great for first dates.

and whenever my laptop is in it, it jumps in value from $50 to $3500....
