Not so strange, that's what I'm saying since Monday.
There's a hardware limit you cannot exceed!
Beyond it there's only worse results, it's not a matter of high clocks, just useful and performing clocks...

Notice that I only have the T2300 CPU, and everyone with similar scores has the T2400, T2500 or even T2600 (such as Andre). If you do comparisons on FutureMark's web site, you'll see that CPU makes a BIG difference.

Also, since I'm the only user with >1Ghz memory, I'd say the GTX BIOS is doing something. I've picked up over 400 3DMark06 points by using the GTX BIOS and increasing the clocks. Obviously, it's working.
Did you try to set to 950 with the same core?
Andre gets lower results over 1 Ghz even with no artifacts...
He gets about the same score of yours at 1050-1100 Mhz, about 3600...
and over 3700 at 950...
And I think that GTX bios does not add anything that you couldn't get from a modded Go bios with the same memory clocks and voltages of GTX one.
That's my opinion...

has anybody else been able to find that heatsink. i am still waiting for an email from them.
If you find it, please give me a call. I would like to get a heatsink for the latitude D810 as I broke the last.

Yes, I started with the core at 950. Every 5 Mhz I could add to the core increased the score. 965 was as far as I could go without artifacting. Perhaps his RAM cannot handle the >1Ghz. Mine can, and it shows by my score. You keep saying "he has the same score" but he also has a 30% faster CPU, which you seem to be absolutely ignoring. You can have your opinion all you want, but as far as I'm concerned, only numbers matter and if I can get the same score with the same GPU and a 500Mhz slower CPU, then everything is working perfectly. If you don't think it will work and won't try it, then don't worry about it. Arguing the same point over and over about what you won't even test yourself is a waste of time.

wow they want 118 american for the heatsink and like 35 bucks for shipping. just for that heatsink. thats quite a bit. you have to email them. 98euro and 28.5euro for shipping.

I attend answer pls
it seems that your for 3dmark05 and for your core speed u don't need to raise the ram any higher. up the core a little more.
I'll download 05 and do the tests, but I can only go 930 with 1.2v, 950 is unstable for me with major artifacting.
3DMark05 - 1.2v - 400/930 - 6008
3DMark05 - GTX BIOS - 400/1050 - 6102

3DMark06 - 1.2v - 400/930 - 3242
3DMark06 - GTX BIOS - 400/1050 - 3294

yes artifact whit atitool

but 3d mark is perfect

I'm using the Xtreme-G MobileForce 84.22 v2.30 from tweaksrus.com.

At 950 with 1.2v, I can see actual artifacts in 3DMark06 in the firefly test. Flashing lights everywhere. When it gets to the airship test, the screen starts going black randomly.
Isnt this like comparing 1.2v to 1.3v?

What if you compare the GTX BIOS with the 1.3v voltmod?

The 1.3v voltmod can reach over 1000 in memory mhz, can't it?
I never could. Even the 1.3v mod only allowed me to go to 930 with the memory, but it did allow me to go higher with the core (which is where the big gains are made, anyway).
Jack, I'm back...
I meant that there's no GTX bios or GTX voltmod that works, your ram grows until 1050 because you're just lucky...
GTX ram are different hardware, so the limit could be 960 for someone or 1050 to someone else, but it's not a matter of bios or voltmod.

The juice is this, I didn't want to focalize on scores (and it's true that T2600 gives more score, I do know it)...
The fact is that there's no way to get GTX features, not by tweaking, not by bios modding...
If the limit is 960 for Andre, you're just lucky to get 1050, but 1050 is the limit of your hw, with or without all the tweaks you're speaking of...
A bit overvolting is useful, but it's not a new and it doesn't strictly regard a "modded GTX bios"...
you can get the same on a Go vid modded bios, but the 1320 Mhz of GTX ram are so far just because different hardware...

what power supply are you guys using on your 9400/1705? I'm using the standard 90w and i managed to get a 3dmark05 score of 6365 at 435/955, max temp 81 celsius on the 1.3 vmod 7800go bios.. but it was a lucky run, as my power supply just keeps shutting down most of the times.. also, i get lots of artifacts on the first and last 3dmark05 test. I'm thinking of getting some artic silver 5, but my major issue here is the whimpy power supply...
