T43s and T42s with the Flexview 1600x1200? Gone from site?

I wanted to get one of those T42 or T43 (with or without the p) 's with the 1600 x 1200 resolution. Now the LENOVO site only shows a t60p with that screen.

Does anyone know or can find out the model numbers for the above and how I could order them?

I don't know of any non-P models that ever had the UXGA Flexview screen in the first place.

Do you have a model number that you think DID have it?

As far as the T43P series, call them up and ask for the one you want by product number.

Search the TABOOK for any that have what you need and list as a workhorse model. As I understood it, they were supposed to remain available for quite a while...that way corporations could use one image for a significant amount of time...

He is right, only the p models get the 15" flexview screen. I only get the 14" models so i get the sxga screen.

I dont really care whether they were p or non p. I just remember seeing T42s and T43s on IBM site with 1600x1200 models. Now I dont see it.

Question is how do I get them now? Do I need the model numbers to look them up? Because Lenovo does not list them on the site anymore.

You can use tabook to look up the exact model you want, or just call them up to place an order, get a quote, for anything you want. You still can get the uxga screen, but it has to be the 15" and it will definately be a P model.

The T4x's, especially the "p", is probably being discontinued now that Lenovo has T60's. If you really want a T4x, I'd keep an eye on the clearance corner page for some sort of blow out deal. The mark down will probably be extraordinary.

TABOOK - where?

The Clearance corner is here: http://www-131.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/st...-840&langId=-1

What's offered on CC seems to be hit-or-miss. Somtimes, there's lots there...sometimes nothing.

You can find the tabook.pdf at the bottom of this page.

that is NOT CORRECT. Non-p models with 15" SXGA+ panels DO HAVE FlexView displays.

also, your 14.1" has a SXGA+ display, not SXGA. SXGA is 1280 x 1024 while SXGA+ is 1400 x 1050. Get your facts straight!

True and false, your right, my T60 is a sxga+, i just dont like typing the +.

And you were correct regarding the flexviews, but that was the T4x models. I believe they changed this for the T60s. Now only the T60p models get the 15" Flexview.

I have the tabook.pdf if anyone needs it for curiosity needs.

this is directly from tabook version 305 regarding 15" non-p T60's:
Some: 15.0" (358.1mm) XGA (1024x768) TFT color / 150 nits / anti-glare
Some: 15.0" (381.0mm) SXGA+ (1400x1050) TFT color / 200 nits / anti-glare
FlexView display with wide viewing angle and high density using IPS technology
