Will Dell ever bring back the 7800 go on the E1505? I really like the E1505 but I dont wanna waste my money on the 1400x. I am not going to even order the E1505 for 2 months so im hoping by then they will have the 7800 go back for the E1505.

Well let me ask you some stuff.

1) wouldnt be easier to type yes or no instead of writing that?
2) Why reply if thats what your going to type? He probably did use search but there is quite a few pages to go through.

Ummm, when was the Go7800 ever offered on the E1505? Are you talking about the E1705???

Well I know they were offering it on the E1705 but I thought I saw them having it on the E1505 for only like a week.

I don't believe the 7800Go was ever offered on the E1505. Otherwise I would have opted for the smaller formfactor. Hope this helps to answer your question.

7800 go was never offered with e1505, it couldn't fit what ya talkin about

...just for the record 7800 go will NEVER be offered for e1505

Ok that clears things up. I might have to settle with the the x1400.

Hey I forgot to ask. Do you think the E1705 will ever be offered with the 7800 go again b/c I might consider that then too. Also, will the new XPS with dual core come in a 15 inch screen possibly?
no, the 1705 wont be offered with the 7800, but will probably be offered with a 7900

15 inch xps= not gonna happen

Aren't the XPS series models moving UP in screen size? 20" formfactor now?

I just thought they may offer a 15 inch or 14 inch XPS with dual core b/c they have the M140.

Would the Go 7300/7400 fit in the i6400?

Would the Go 7600 fit in the i6400?
ok, I guess it's possible they will release xps 14 and 15 inch models, but they would be very unlikely to be gaming capable machines, much like how the m140 can't game...

In these cases all xps does is increase the price by removing some of the less expensive options and adding an additional price premium.

I haven't heard news of any new xps machines besides the 1710 and 2010.

Only if dell releases it for those machines. some other company's card (even if it's mxm or whatever) wont fit

Same here.. I would have rather a 15" book with a Go7800, but I never heard a word of this being offered.

i would rather a 7800 in 15" form also.

but alas, never gonna happen , at least with dell.

So I was looking at this HP 15 inch notebook and they offer 128MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 in it. So I was wondering which is better. That one or the x1400 in the E1505?
