8204 Pointers & Praise

Had my 8204 for about a week now, and it is one solid notebook. Strong body, little heat honestly>>>my mouse sits just low of the exhaust vent so no problems<<<
The performance is amazing in media, gaming, and average task. Multitasking and multiple programs is a no brainer for this machine. Little to no noise, the optical drive can produce some noise though when running games but it is minimal.
I have the 03-06 production model and Acer seemed to fix many problems, all I changed was to a Omega 6.3 driver.
For those on the screen no gloss complaints I prefer the matte screen. I get near 0 glare. Adjusting the gamma gives optimal results. Try this:
Red> Gamma .71 Bright -6 Cont 137
Green> Gamma .81 Bright -6 Cont 138
Blue> Gamma .81 Bright -6 Cont 139
This gives me a great screen with no glare.
Gaming im playing Battlefield 2 at near all high setting 2xAA and all medium settings 2xAA on 64map with no problems and looks great.
No issues on Wifi and havent tried Bluetooth w/ VOIP but will soon due to me using it in Kuwait.
2GB of ram huge boost in performance.
My spearkers perform quite well for a notebook and is plenty load. I also understand the sacrifice of bass in a notebook.
I am extremely happy with this notebook and I hope this helps others on their choices. Will try to add more in the future.

With those settings you loose too much information in lights so it's useless for any photoediting or graphics designing.

What would YOU suggest to be better?
