looks like a pretty nice comp cuz6. personally i don't really like ECS or p4 notebooks (unless it's an 8790/a-51m you're talking about) but congrats anyway, looks like you're gonna like it!

My bro has the same laptop. It's a great performer, but get ready for the paint chips to start. Once you get the slightest chip it will only get worse from there. Seems like the paint they used does not want to stick to the plastic very well. Got so bad for my bro that he chipped off all the paint on the palm rest and carbon fibered the whole thing. Now it looks 10 times better. Hope you like it though.

hi, im new here , but i also planned to buy this laptop on ebay, but do you tried it with recent Games?? like DOOM 3 or UT2004 ?

DOH! I had one of those and ended up sending it back! Fan was too loud, mouse button died. and worst of all.....the plate that covers the CPU chamber MELTED!!!! I was running the laptop for long periods of time and while gaming the system would freeze or shut off. Found out that the board was completely faulty...never ECS again.
