I've been trying to utilize the vga out so i can have dual display's. The other monitor being a 17" CRT with a max of 1280x1024. The problem starts when i try to initially use the Laptops native 1280x800 resolution and the monitor to 1280x1024. It just wont work the monitors both display a picture(for lack of a better word) that is bigger than the actual display so when i move my mouse to the edge it 'slides' over so i can see what was not on the screen. The best i can do is have the 17" on 1152x864 and run the laptop on 1280x800 but with only 16bit color. If i even touch the SIS graphics driver setup the screens just go back to the first mode where i have to move the mouse to see the top of the screen. Do any of you have advice or is there anything i can do.
The graphics in my laptop is the SIS mirage 2
