Not this again... LCD issue

Hey guys,
I used to have a i8600 wxga, 128 9600pro etc and it was stolen last month. I have been waiting until dell released the E1505, to repalce my old one.

I liked the resolution and response times on the i8600 XGA screen and was hoping to get the same performance from the current wxga.. Wow, was I wrong. I just got my E1505 WXGA non truelife, x1400 and reading forums makes my eyes hurt. It seems like the screen has weak response times. When I scroll it gets pretty fuzzy (text). I am not saying my eyes are the best, but I didn't have this issue on the samsung WXGA(i8600) screen. I looked on Knoppix(sp) and the screen name is a QDS004S anyone have any information about this screen?

thank you in advance.

try updating the graphics drivers to the latest ones on the dell website. the graphics on mine screwed up a bit when i moved windows about etc, but since the update it's completely fine.

let me know how you get on.

I just upgraded the drivers, it wasn't a fix.
It seems like the text is ghosting while scrolling and my eyes won't be able to take it much longer. It did it on the previous Samsung, i had but it wasn;t as noticeable. I could stand browsing forums for 1.5 to 2 hours easily. Dell had this problem back when I was looking into a 9100/8600 the Hitachi WSXGA screens would ghost while moving windows around and text ghosting on forums. I had to return that screen and get the samsung wxga. I can't believe they went to a sub par screen on a newer model

I have turned off smooth scrolling seems to have helped a little bit, any other recomendations?

does anyone have specs on thsi screen? response times? etc..

thanks.
