9400 bf2 wont boot

It doesnt read my disc 1 in my drive properly, it just hangs with the battlefield 2 logo, it is driving me nuts.

is it a legit copy?, I mean did you purchase it? or is it a burned copy?

Same problem here too. I had to use a disk image 'crack' it. Retarded because I actually bought it.

Had the same thing. You need to get the mini-image and mount it using Daemon Tools. That was the only thing that worked for me.

I found that from a fresh boot the game starts normally. If I exit the game and restart it, it will hang at the "Battlefield 2" splash screen. I found by ejecting the Battlefield2 CD, reinserting it and then excuting the game it works. Or you could just reboot. Thats if your having the same problem as me.
