Hi see my sig... i got to stable 125 fsb... with Prime. Only bad thing is, that sound is off Maxed is 127 fsb.. than systems freeze. My DDR is just 333 maybe is the main problem ? System have bad fsb/dram 3/4 multiplier ...so with 125 fsb = 166 x2 ddr, moore can ddr ram problem.
With sound i use 110 fsb with no problem.
It is possible get 133 fsb with 855 chipset? ( pin or other mod)?
i have Pentium M 760 533 fsb now at desktop, but i think on my R40 is not working- So i have to sell him.

Wtf is not yet clear?
A have asked others how max overclock cpu +fsb
I855 chipset is default 100 fsb... so my max is 125-7

Im using clockgen, set fsb, change multiplier Eist.

Pls. give me some tricks

There are no tricks, what do u think u can fool the cpu and overclock it more??

Just bump up the fsb, and make sure the temps are reasonable, thats pretty much all u need to know.

If you press Up + Up + Down + Down +Left + Right + Left + Right + A + B at boot up you can enter a secret menu where you can double your clockspeed.

omg people here are noobs, they prolly dont even know what prime is

some 855 desktop boards supported 533 fsb unofficially, so i would try it ans see

wow dude, I don't know much about what you're asking, but I do know that my mom always told me to be polite. Seems to me you'd get better results if you didn't berate everyone in the forums. Good luck though, hope you find out what you so despeately need to know

if you have access to ddr 400 sodimms i would try it, laptop memory is made for low power so you prolly wont get to 533 fsb on ddr 333

My Acer TM291LCi overclocked to 104MHz FSB, after a few secs the GPU(Intel 855) started going mad.
When I disabled the Graphics Accelerator I managed to get up to 115MHz.

Result: Wasn't worth the hassle

I've run my M6Ne at 120MHz FSB using DDR400 SODIMMs. There is a way to tweak the clocks such that the PCI clock speed stays unchanged, thus keeping your audio working and other such stuff. It was written up on a German forum, and I've also posted it here and at rojakpot a few times so I won't repeat it yet again.

Unfortunately my Pentium-M 755 doesn't run stable at that speed (2.4GHz) so I have to drop the max multiplier from 20 down to 19 (2.28GHz).
Since the CPU wasn't stable I've not bothered to try any faster than 120MHz. That puts the memory at exactly DDR400 speed anyway; running faster would require some pretty high quality RAM and my experience so far is that nobody sells high quality overclockable laptop memory.

and laptops dont have pci locks and dividers for the ram because they arent ment for ocing, so its pretty much hit and miss
