Interesting except most of the games my system fails for recommended because it doesnt take into account how much faster a 2 GHz pentium-m is compared to a 2 GHz pentium-4.

You have some powersaving stuff on. Go to the control panel and select home/office under the power icon. That should get the CPU running at full speed.

k, tried that and it didnt work. restarted laptop and it detected everything correctly but still dont meet recommended for fear, wot about u guys?

I keep failing the CPU speed part... I don't think it likes Pentium M's...

yeah, I failed the BF2 one, because my CPU's a 1.6 Centrino.

I passed... but I didn't even reach the "reccomended" spike, and I have a 7800GTX. My friend runs Quake 4 and Doom 3 on high flawlessly with his desktop 6600 OC'ed and a p4 2.8. The stakes on this test seem kinda high to me.

It seems that the test doesnt evaluate the performance capability of the Pentium M. It actually jus tests clock speeds. My friend has an athlon fx 53 and it failed the clock speed test for FEAR also. LOL!
