Does anybody here see the error message "thunk.exe file not found" while installing or reinstalling ATI drivers provided by Acer?

How can get rid of such error message?

I'm not 100% sure, but try to install .net before installing the drivers.

Oddly enough, I tried the Omega drivers for the first time, and had the same pauses/hesitations as with the new Acer drivers. Going back to the original drivers resolved the issue...
