Brenthaven or AW backpack?

I need a backpack to bring my m5500 on vacation with me. What does everybody recommend? I mostly interested in protection....the AW doesn't look like its got much padding. The brenthaven looks pretty decent but I have never seen either in person.

if you want protection, get a briefcase not a backpack

The Brenthaven backpack works fine with the m5500, and it offers good protection. I've had mine for more than 2 years (originally purchased for a 15" PowerBook) and it still looks like new after daily use.

Can't go wrong with either one ..... eventually becomes personal preference .... the Brenthaven rox ....... but the looks of the AW rox as well .... personally ---- Alieware would be my choice .....

The AW backpack rocks. I have it and it does have a lot of padding in the sleeve that the laptop slips into. The many pockets are great. I can carry the laptop, power supply, usb floppy drive, cds, 200 gb external HD, multiple cables, mouse, mouse pad, 2 decks of cards, and Defcon 1 lock. Thats about all I can think of right now. Its large and it looks awsome. Also has well padded straps which make carrying the probably 20 lbs of stuff around easier.
