anyway to find out if the notebooks vid card is upgradable?
check the fujitsu forum, although i doubt it. i've seen people w/ xps gen 1 can upgrade from 9700 to 9800 but idk about fujitsu. although u have to pay premium for a 9800 which is not worht it imo
post #5 of 25
It's a fujitsu, so no it isn't "upgradable" with anything newer video-wise.

And that's about as good a deal as you're gonna get, sadly. You'll be losing a lot of performance game-wise.

i think u should keep your desktop. worth more than anything u r trying to trade for
post #7 of 25
I think its a pretty fair trade.

You aren't going to get a straight up trade for a laptop with a 6800 or higher series card. Sorry, your desktop isn't worth that much. Not trying to be a douche here, just trying to enlighten.

He's been informed many times now on this forum and on other forums that he will not get a high end laptop with his $800,00 rig.
He will understand as time goes by.

You couldn't build his system for 500 bucks...a 7800 gt would be like 225 alone. Aren't you all thread crapping?
Yes, you guys are talking out your a$$. It's worth more then $500.00. If you feel his trade is not worth it, that's fine. He did ask. But I build systems every day, and $500 would not build that.. I hate it when people do this..

it really shows off the maturity level of some people on this forum

its annoying

Okay, well that totals $885.00. Far cry from $500.00. You're wrong Soulsaver. That is a lowball value period. That was my only point, and yes I do. But when I look at trade value, I do not compare with Tier 1 prices. That isn't really fair as most do not have access to that pricing. I think it is more fair to use Pricewatch, or Newegg and then discount what you estimate is fair by the condition and age.. That's my opinion anyway..
