I really need your help! I am trying to find a replacement board for my 766 notebook... I am about a year out of warranty. Lastnight in the middle of installing software the machine just dies ... I thought it was the a/c adapter ( because it was ticking, with the power light flashing) and I assumed that I just didn't notice the battery draining.. but after buying a new one (a/c adapter) , it did the same thing!

Could you please help!

I do have a Antec Cooler pad

Thanks FlapJack! if I only knew what this meant?...

'SPECIAL NOTE: These boards are all NPUL's that had factory faulty video cards installed on them. They have been burned in for 72 hours. These boards are meant as a DIRECT REPLACEMENT only. Version number is VERY important.'

It just means they are used boards from laptops that had defective video modules. The mobos are fine and were salvaged to sell as replacement parts. The part about the burn in means they have been tested to verify that they work as specified.

I hope they are able to get one for you...it looks like they are all out of stock right now.
