Sound volume fluctuating

I've been noticing that my volume will fluctuate randomly while I'm doing anything that plays sound. It must be a laptop issue, because it does it with both my headphones and my external speaker system. Has anyone else had this issue? The laptop is still under warranty, but I really don't want to have to send it back in unless I have to. Could this be a sound card issue? Well anyways, I appreciate you guys for reading this and leaving any help you might have. Thanks!

Just for the heck of it... Did you attempt to install newer/better sound drivers ? My realtek drivers are versioned at 5.10.0.5650.

experiment with drivers on your sager cd, sager's website, realtek's site, etc

something will fix it
