When booting normally into Windows, Bluetooth works fine, as does the little button to enable/disable the WLAN and BT features. But...
If I load into HP's Quickplay, all hell breaks loose.
The blue LED indicating that the BT is enabled is ON when first getting into quickplay. If I push the button to turn the blue LED off, it will not come on again. This issue seems to happen regardless of whether I leave the blue LED on or off.
Once I exit Quickplay (ie turning the power off), if I turn the computer back on and check the BIOS... the BT adapter isn't even listed. If I let it finish booting Windows, the BT adapter isn't detected and isn't listed in the HP wireless helper-thing software. And the snazzy blue light doesnt turn on for enable/disable.
If I reboot again, the BT adapter shows up in the BIOS, but is by default disabled and needs to be reenabled.
I flashed the bios to F33.A, still the same issue. I'm going to try a reformat tonight (reinstalling both quickplay and the OS), since that's all the support had left to offer after a BIOS flash. Anyone else with any other thoughts?
