so here in switzerlan i was at the dell tec tour. i have spoken with an tec-salesman. here is what he said:
it is possible to upgrade. the reson why the insp6000 did not recon the x1400 is the hypermemory. the 128 mb x300 has dedicated ram.. . so all you must do is: dumb both bios and find the adress space where the hypermem info is and extend (copy) the address area in to the insp6000 bios, btw merge the infos.. and it run.. so thats the info.. i hope that is a chalange for u .. if some one did it.. please let us know i need the bios tooo
