I too would use the Omega driver, but it seems you can't increase the "saturation" levels using the Omega - otherwise I would most definitely switch.

As it is, the color settings matter the most to me on my 8204. Followed by gaming, etc

Well, you can change Gamma, Contrast and Brightness individually for Red, Green and Blue. From this you should be able to make the same adjustments.

gamma, contrast and brightness are all different that saturation. i have done several, several tweaks to my screen and have saved all the preferences.

i cant get it to look as good with the omegas

Your probably right, that you can't reproduce the same effect, but since the screen uses RGB colour space, one should actually be able to change the saturation this way:
