Does anyone else have this problem with NHC?

Hi,

I've emailed the author of NHC but he hasn't responded, so I wanted to see if you guys also have this problem with NHC (notebook hardware control)

Every time I open it from the systray and then close it, the window gets a little bit smaller and the stuff inside starts to fit less and less until eventually I have to exit and restart it so that the borders are big again and I can check off the "ati powerplay" option (this is the reason I keep opening it and closing it)

I only used it for a couple months, but I have never heard such a thing.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling it?

Not I but I had an issue where if I had it running as a service for some reason my power management settings would get reset all the time.

Hmm damn...

Could it be some conflict with windowblinds (running kol's vista theme)? I'm running the latest version of nhc btw.

Flav_cool I had that same problem and I think I was running a vista theme when I had the problem. I have switched to another theme and I have not noticed the problem at all, so I would assume it has to do with that theme.

I tried another vista theme that is called vislumbre5308 that is by Butch123. I don't think I had the problem with that theme.

Good luck.

Thanks for confirming that. I like this theme though...maybe I can find another good one...

The thing is that it still has to partly be NHC's fault because it's not like this window shrinking happens with any other windows... right?
