Hello All,

Can I use the 3007WFP with the new M90 in full resolution?

In other words, has the M90 DUAL LINK DVI?

Thanks in advance.

Bob

I think it can: On one of the web pages advertising it, Dell shows it side-by-side with the 3007WFP. However, to be completely sure, you should call your freindly Dell representative. Never rely on the advice of strangers on the web

nvidia does not list the quadro 2500 as having dual link dvi capability, so I'm inclined to say it cant. (Dell also nowhere lists the m90 as having a DVI-DL)

According to my dell rep, no it cannot run it. And as others have said, even nVidia has said it doesn't hae DL-DVI.

I feel your pain though. I was hoping to get a 30" for my M90

Damn,

Im so angry bout DELL. They offer an Highend NB that still has VGA out.

I mean who needs that.

Why not put two Dual link DVI or just one.

Apple allway has some extra but its an Apple.

Why no Fingerprint like in the new LAT 620 and 820.

Why no real good soundcard... maybe new XPS will have one?

Why, why, why....

I think If DELL realy want´s somthing NVIDIA should do for ´em they will.

Best sample is the QUAD SLI in the RENEGADE machine.

So why not get the maximum in the flagship?

Probably became harder to implement in a mobile solution. Some would support it, some wouldn't. You'll find that on the Sager machines using the same 7800GTX the external res only goes to 1600x1200, so there are some definite goings-on in the connection between a card and the external output.

That likely means that even upgrading to a future gpu, for which that new future gpu on a new machine supports dual link, won't support it when installed on the M90.

Debating the M90/1710 thing myself. Beginning to hate the 1710's silver stupidity.
