Fatal Error

My son is home from college for a couple of days, so I decided to clean up his ocmputer a little. I ran adaware and after a couple of seconds, a blue screen comes on fatal error and the system will shut down. He was on his computer last night and it seemed to be fine. He has a Dell 6000. I am running AVG now and that seems to be working. While adaware was running for that little time, one module critical object came up and then it shut down. Please help. Thanks.

I would take everything off the hard drive that you need and reformat. If you need instructions for doing this just do a search in these forums. It is very easy to do...just a little tedious. You will need the Windows CD. Good Luck!
