Battery issue with my M6BNe...help...opinions...advice...freezepops...idk

Thread Starter
Sooooooo after having this great notebook for awhile and knowing how awesome it was, my M6BNe's battery refuses to charge beyond about 40%. For awhile it wouldn't go past 60%, etc. I figured this was all normal and a recalibrate would fix it no problem. Well I started the recalibrate but it never started to charge, and it never started to discharge. It just stayed on that first screen and the battery light never comes on, I left it for over 5 hours with no change. I've never used CHC, but mobilemeter says:
Remaining wattage: 24968
Designed Capacity: 63640
Fully Charged Capacity: 61612
Wear Level: 3%
Voltage: 16341

Windows says the battery is charging at 41%, but obviously this isn't the case.

I don't really use the battery very often, but I think the problem happened after I fell asleep a few times with the computer on. It was set to go into hibernate after 3% remaining. I never really run down the battery otherwise because it's mostly on my desk plugged in.

So I bought it barebones awhile ago, so no reseller per se. Am I basically screwed now and need to buy a new battery and hope it doesn't happen again? I did read the whoooole sticky thread about the other battery issue, and it sounds like that, but my charge light never stays on, the battery just won't recharge, and it seems like it keeps loosing charge and won't charge back up. I bought it late in the lifespan of the M6 series, so is there a chance it might have gotten some of the faulty battery technology? I'm not looking for a handout here of a "consumable" component, a battery, but it just seems to me there is a problem with this battery that's not normal wear and tear...?

It will happen again if you always use it on AC power.

I've seen quit a few customers has battery problems because they always use it on AC power, it's not good for LI-Ion batteries. you need to use it on battery power about twice a week to let it drain and re-charge so that'll keep the battery alive.
This problems also happens more on people who has 2 primary batteries that they bought 2 but never swap between 2 batteries, therefore, when they start to use it the battery cells is already dead.
