Are there any "How to disassemble and repair HP laptop and notebooks" guides websites out there?

Like the one Toshiba has:

I haven't seen any.... BTW what model do you have? Your "sig" doesn't say, just gives the specs of your machine.

dv8000z?

If so go to the HP site.... On the dv8000 series they have (2) Maintance and Service Manuals that you can download that show allot of detail on what you are asking about.

Exactly, just go to the HP website, they're on there for each series.
