It's not all UPS
sorry to say my laptop that was supposed to ship yesterday and arrive today via overnite UPS, did *not* arrive!
My wife waited around the house all day because I was certain that it was going to show up today.
She was not amused.
My first call to PCT I was told that they couldn't give me a tracking number because they dont get them from Sager that early
Not to be daunted I called Sager and explained my situation and asked if they could give me a tracking number. The guy from Sager asked what reseller I had gotten it through. I said PCT. He laughed.
He said that they already had all the tracking numbers for the systems that had been shipped the day before.
In fact he said that they had the tracking numbers for all the systems that had shipped that day as well.
He was sorry for my situation but he couldn't wouldn't give me any more info.
Now I'm getting pissed.
I call PCT again. I get a different guy. The different guy explains that there's been a teensy mistake between PCT and Sager, resulting in *some* systems that were going to ship yesterday "for sure" to "not" ship.
But don't worry dear customer they really will ship today, trust me.
So I get plucky and ask for a tracking number for the famous once and future laptop.
Mr. PCT says he doesn't have that yet (it's 5:30 his time and 3:30 Sager time)
I explain to Mr. PCT that I'm leaving for a business trip on Sunday afternoon and I'll be gone all week. Worse yet I'll be bringing my wife with, so there will be no one home to recieve the package all week if doesn't happen to show up tomorrow (Saturday)
Mr. PCT he's really sorry but theres nothing he can do.
I go on to explain about the conversation I had with Mr. Sager and the distribution of said tracking numbers.
Mr. PCT sticks to his story and maintains that he doesn't yet have said tracking number.
He offers to send an email to sager inquiring into the status of the once and future laptop, and if they reply before his end of business he be happy to update my online account status.
