After 1500+ posts @ [H] without having a good rig, I finally ordered mine.

I think this is great deal considering theyre putting it together. How do you think i did?

BTW, im installing the zalman+fans myself.

woops, forgot that.

The antec truepower550w... good choice?

I just decided to use my bose headphones for now. (i was way over budget anyway)

should be ok, dual 12v rail i believe. Should be a nice system that is begging to be overclocked.

am2? Meh, what about dx10? What about vista?

Illjust upgrade @ quad core. Also, am2s performance will only be equivalent to dd500+ which is what im running at.

I was also trying to convince myself The way I see it is Ill upgrade to vista when it comes out, I dont game that much so Ill get a good card now and get dx10 when I really want to. AM2/conroe? Hmmm, I guess Im upgrading to quad core later...

yeah waiting for am2 really isnt worth it, the benchmarks of it so far have only put it 2-4% ahead of 939. Conroe, however, is worth the wait.

Make sure to take an upclose picture of the chip pre-installation once you get it

Hope you get either a CCB1E 0608 or CCBBE 0610. Went to the Hard forums, and wow, seeing 3.0 ghz on air for some of these chips is amazing.
