Won't boot-ms 1029

Notebook is a msi ms 1029. Will not boot into windows normal,safe or last known good configuration. it hangs up on bthidmgr.sys which is a bluetooth driver, i don't have any bluetooth devices attached and have never used bluetooth. problem started last night, i dimmed the lcd and it froze up. i went to bed and when i woke up i was able to use it again, wanted to brighten lcd, it froze, waited for several minutes and then shut it down, held down power button. now it won't boot. any ideas?

did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same exact problem with my msi-1036

I am experiencing this issue as well(mine stalls on acpisys). I am a reseller with MSI and will be contacting them tomorrow regarding this problem.

Please do me a favor and post your configurations so I can inform MSI there are instances of this problem, and hopefully have an answer for everyone soon..

I actually just got it working. Heres what MSI said to do:

Try removing the Bluetooth/WiFi module (through the large access panel on the bottom of the system). Please be sure that the AC power and battery are removed before doing so. Once removed, try to enter Safe Mode and uninstall the BlueSoleil software. A reboot will be required following which we’d like you to then power down, remove AC adapter and battery and physically reinsert the BT/WiFi module. When you booted into Windows, please reinstall the BlueSoleil software.

it worked like a charm

Edit; Got a reply in the email with new drivers.. uploaded them to my site for easier access. They appear to have fixed the issues.

BlueSoleil 1.6.2.1 (25.4mb):
• Added Finnish and Norwegian support
• Added online help of all the supported 17 languages
• The install engine is MS Installer.
• Added Polish, Portuguese and Swedish support.
• Revised Italian translations.
• The interface becomes more stable.
• Bug fix: BlueSoleil may save the file received from OPP to the parent folder of OPP root path.
• Bug fix: CF-Card SCO Problem.
• BlueSoleil will set "Global\\BlueSoleilStarted" event regardless of the setting of hid2hci in bttl.ini.
• Bug fix: BlueSoleil Cannot pass HCT 12.1 Mixer Driver Test.
