7800go In May?

Thread Starter
I have read a couple of places that the 7800go will be back in May. Can anyone verify this?
I have wanted to order a machine since early March. I'm just sitting around waiting for a decent card to place my order... ;;

Hi!

I think there are only coming a little bit cards only to fit the last orders. And in May/June there is a i9500 with a 7900 GS available...

Read again and pay attention... I wrote: "I think.." Think comes from thinking. Maybe there are coming i9400 with 7900 GS, because of the hint in the new BIOS. But, who knows...but there are coming new i9500 in this year, I think!

..And I shut up, when I want my dear.

Then the last charge of 7800 Go cards were shipped only to Australia. I would wait until the new 7900 (notebooks) are coming, at this moment.

^^ You're speaking with absolutely no source whatsoever. Providing wrong information and making wrong judgements.

Dell USA, Canada and UK (including a few other European countries) are the only countries to sell the XPS line of laptops. Since Dell had a shortage of the 7800GO, when they got them back they sent all countries other than the aforementioned ones replacements. While they offered people in those countries the XPS with a big coupon as a deal.

However, to keep 9400 sales high, they're now releasing the 7900GS, as a little incentive to all the people who were moaning about the 7800 shortage, who can now purchase the system. THAT is the truth.

Be cool! Relax! You do not understand me...
You and we all do not know anything about their marketing and sales. And you also not...

No, I do, that's why I posted.

So is the common consensus that a new laptop(9500?) will use the 7900? Let me ask a stupid question here, is the e1705 another name for the 9400 or are they actually 2 laptops? Are they more expensive then the other?
1705 is from Dell HOME... 9400 is from Dell Small Business

Both are exactly the same except for tech support. that is all... 1705 has more frequest coupons. buit we all call them 9400's since the 9300 was Dells previous undergamer.

Hmm, on the EURO/German Website the i9400 is for privat users / home users. Funny!

Yesterday a newsreport comes out with:
The DELL XPS M1710 comes with the new 7900 GTX and Toshiba Satellite P100 und P105 also.

The E1705 is meant to be for non-business users since it comes with Windows Media Center Edition as a default, while the 9400 comes with XP Professional/Home as default.

That's the only difference.
