As I posted last night, I was thinking about the time, not so long ago, that a 50 point hit seemed really huge. People are now getting hits worth hundreds of thousands or even millions of points per shot - sending them straight to pink or even yellow - and bypassing several levels all at once. I've seen several people whose rep is all blue but have only 100 or fewer posts!

So, IMHO, nobody who is blue earned all that rep - rep's just a game here at NBF. I didn't mean for my comment to be taken as serious criticism, dellandre - I was jokingly poking fun at all of us who have "blue" rep.

I completely agree with you. Some other forums value their rep and only spread it on a deserved basis. As you said, we're just playing a game here. Finally, I don't think anyone took your comment as serious criticism (... if you did ). You will be repped for this astute post. (when my 24 rep jail is up ).

And Thunder, it does still make us more loyal members than most others. We tend to whore post in rep threads, and when it gets boring, we end up posting in other threads, giving us more posts than the regular.

Oh definately. I wasn't meaning anything negative by it. I like the rep threads. I was just saying, even those with high post counts still don't really deserve" the blue level rep, as far as getting for posts deserving of rep. The bulk was gained from whoring. I didn't mean anything at all bad by it.
