9400 7800 Go Runs Hot Idle

Hey all,

Been having a problem lately and wanted to mention it to see if there is anything I can do. I don't have my 7800 OC'ed and I have noticed it tends to get a little hot -- and this is just when it's idle in Windows. The system seems to let it get up to about 70ish degrees until it will finally cool it down. Is that normal? Oe do I have something to worry about?

Thank you.

It's perfectly normal dude

I got mine OC'd to 355 Core and 865 Mem whilst idle temps are around 68-70.

Never had a single problem.

But mine is NOT currently OC'ed and the temps still seem to climb. Is that normal?

Yes it is, between 66 and 72 is where mine operates. Its rated for 93 before it shuts down.
