ferrari 3200 power socket problem

Thread Starter
I recently sold my 3200 and the person who brought it has managed to pull the central pin out of the power socket in the side of the notebook .....so can anybody tell me how difficult/easy this is to replace ? also is there a guide to ripping apart and rebuilding this notebook? and lastly if this is a difficult job ....can anybody reccomend a good repairer ?

thx in anticipation

Google for "Ferrari 3200 service manual", there is a pdf around and it should be home doable if you have surgical-steady hands.

I never opened my Ferrari, but will have to when I purchase more memory.

I'm afraid it does, because one memory ship is under the Ferrari 3400 and the other one is _under_ the keyboard.

Cheers.
