I'm usually against purchasing extended warranties. I think it's one of the biggest money makers for a company, plus I figure I'm going to usually upgrade on certain things in a few years anyway (i.e. - digital cameras). But my Dv1000t - which is absolutley AWESOME - cost $1,500. I can change a hard drive, memory, wireless card - but then I think what if the screen dies, or the motherboard. I'm not sure how long these things usually last on a laptop. I don't travel with it, but I'll hang out in the back yard to play. ANybody have any thoughts?
