Just got an I8600 - How to identify screen?

Hello! I just got a new I8600 and I love it. I've been reading in the forums about differing screen quality with different manufacturers. How do I tell who's screen I have? I've tried several things, but I just get Default Monitor. Thanks for your help!

I8600 - 1.7 Mhz, 1GB Ram, ATI 9600, 60 GB 7200 rpm drive, dvd-r, WUSXGA (1920 x 1200).

Well, just looked at the online original configuration screen and it looks like I have a Sharp. Is that good? The screen looks really good, but the right side (about 2" in) appears a little darker than the rest of the screen. Is that normal? Is Samsung preferred? Or is Sharp good too?

Thanks!

That darkness is a common occurence with the Sharp LCD. If it bothers you, definitely contact Dell for a replacement. I'm having Dell send a tech to replace my LCD with a Samsung.

Its about as common as the dark rain effect bud sadly the SHARP is the superior screen of WUXGA because for some reason the samsung screens are darker
