Best Graphics Game for M170

Thread Starter
My M170 is on the way and I want to get a game that will show the graphic capabilities of the system. I currently play runescape (lvl 100 and I love the game so shut up and don't mock me) and would like a game that is simular to that. I hear WOW is fun but are there others that would be better graphics?

How about list the top 3 graphic Games.
1.
2.
3.

Doom3 and Half-Life 2 are still (I think?) the most graphically intense games on the market. FEAR may be up there with them, but I've never played it.

those two games are not really THAT graphically intensive anymore.

FEAR is a pretty good one and Oblivion is probably the most graphicly intensive game on th market now.

oblivion is deadly if u have the draw distance up high and u are outside. i turned that down real low and the i could raise a bunch of settings.

Far Cry used to be the best, still has best gameplay of that type IMO

Half life 2 is very good looking but the latest crop of games are better graphically

Call of duty 2 has some great scenes with smoke effects

Need for speed most wanted is unreal. It plays like a styleitised movie. This the first one of the series I have seen- its maybe not as dramatic if you had the others. The game is 100 times better than the demo kicking around. Theres a loader to get 1440x900 linked on tweakguides.com

I wasnt impressed with quake4, I'll come back to it when I'm bored

Looking forward to playing oblivion when i get a chance

Havent heard of the others mentioned

I love it when there's more new games out there than I've seen
better than waiting for the next best thing

Why does everyone like FEAR?

I prefer Half Life 2, and well... Counter Strike Source.

I don't really play many other games.

FEAR is demanding, but I reistaled Far Cry a few days ago, an with HDR and in the 1.3 patch and every settings on max, the jungle is extremly good looking. The indoors are not that impressive.

I don't think FEAR looks that good, it's just demanding.

All of the games mentined are excellent. Don’t forget about the underrated “Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from butcher bay” Graphics are pretty good and the game play is very good.

Yes all the previous games are very good, but if you like racing games I think GT legends has to be one of the best looking ones out if not the best out (racing game that is). other then that if you really want to see what your system can do get Oblivion.
