Bad bios flash

My bios has become corrupted, my daughter was using the laptop which is a emachine m5310 and she somehow had a flashing rom screen on the laptop. The laptop was on battery power when the battery died in the midst of this flash and will no post now. What I'am in desperate need of is the original rom flash for this plcc removable bios or a means of resetting the bios for the laptop to post. I already tried leaving the motherboard battery out for a day to reset the bios with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

good luck indeed is what you need. number one rule is not to flash using battery power. happened to me in ancient past. learned my lesson. notebook became useless since there was no way to reflash it once the bios dies out on you. perhaps a new technology is available but as far as i know there is nothing for notebooks.
