Went from a 5150 to a 6000 to a 6400. All under warranty.
How did you do that? Did you ended throwing your dell out of the window or you had hardware issues? I am interested in future transitions like yours
as for the my 6400...., well I will repost something that I posted before.
ok 2 answers, first, I had a 5150 which fell apart so many times, around 50, so they sent me a 6000, which was actually slower and worse then the 5150, so I complained and they upgraded the video card and warranty, then I said I wanted a new cpu, cause the 1.73pm was slower then the 3.2ghz p4 I had before, it took around 2 months for something to be done about that, so they said they would send me a 6000 with a 2.0ghz pm. So the box comes, and there is a 6400 in it, I was quite happy, other then the fact that there was intergraded video in it, I had 128mb x-300 in the 6000, so they are sending the x-1400 to replace it and there was no wireless card.
and to add onto this, I am still waiting for the wireless card and the video card to be sent.... 1 month and counting..... have I mentioned that dell's customer service SUCKS!
