fujitsu n6410 hard drive speed question

hi,

I am thinking of buying the fujitsu n6410, but am wondering about which hard drive to choose, between the 320GB 4200RPM or the 200GB 7200RPM. Does the 7200RPM heat up more, and is it louder? or is there no real difference between heat and noise? Is there a significant difference btw transfer speeds of the 2? Please help.

Another question, is windows MCE or just regular win XP better, in terms of upgrading drivers and such? i had a MCE computer before and for some reason it was a pain to find video drivers to update successfully on MCE edition... dunno, any advice is appreciated.Thanks!!

well, RPM's are RPMs. also mechanical, so it will louder. how much louder? not sure - will find out soon. heat? yes, will be warmer too.

MCE is basically, from what i can tell, XP with the media center program + windows theme, the theme inwhich i really like. glassy. I never use the program tho... it's all about VLC.
