Am I too noob for this...?

I'm a fairly bright, unintimidated and patient 9400 duo owner with a 7800 go, without much experience when it comes to digging into the guts of a laptop. However, all this discussion about upgrading videocards is quite inspiring. While I probably wont scrap my 256mb 7800 go until some fantastic directX 10 card comes out, I'm curious if undertaking such an endeavour would be not end in a voided, busted computer.

In short: how much experience should you have before attempting a videocard mod like the 7900 I've been reading about, which is "plug and play" according to some members of this forum.

How hard is this stuff anyway...?

if your the first to do it, it can be tough.

but once there are a few to do the task all you have to do is read the guide they post

for the matter of videocards, the big thing is if it fits or not, then if the bios detects it or not. If you good at folowing simple instructions it should be pretty simple.
