Hi all,
Just wanted to throw a positive note in for those of you with warranties through micromedics/warrantech.

My 8790 was bluescreening randomly and frequently. I did EVERYTHING I could to NOT have to RMA it through Warrentech, which at this point would be my only option besides paying Sager. I was well beyond the one-year mark but had purchased an extended warranty.

Anyhow, I finally surrendered and contacted them.

WOW! I was NOT expecting such ease with all the horror stories I've seen in the forums. But it went very smoothly.

THey sent me a box right away, I packed it up and shipped it. My old blue 8790 was back to me, in good shape, all parts returned, and FIXED, in five days. They had replaced my primary hard drive. I don't know how I would have determined that it was a hard drive problem based on the bluescreens/errors I had been getting. Believe me, I diagnosed the crap out of it.

Well -- just wanted to give a voice of confidence that it's not always a horror story
