Loads Of E1505 Questions

Hi I waiting to recieve my E1505 and have some questions.
1. Does it have a memory card reader built in? If so what cards can it read? Is it a writer as well?
2. I am going to get a notebook cooler. I see there are 2 kinds. The one has fans on the bottom and you sit the notbook on top of it and there is one that just sits behind it. I guess that one is for notebooks that have vents underneath.
3. I have read that some notebooks run slower than there true processor speed. Where do you check out what speed it is actually running at?

1. It has a built in SD card reader
2. No need a laptop cooler, because the laptop itself stays very cool
3. Fast enough that you couldnt tell the differences.

1. Memory Stick, SD and xD. I've only tried SD on mine.
2. I bought a Raingear Design iLap, the one designed for the Apple powerbook for $50 at CompUSA. It works spendidly. It works great on your lap or on a desk. I've tried fans before, and they're only useful if the laptop sits on your desk connected to external monitor, keyboard, etc.
3. I think all laptops these days lower processor speed when you go to battery. I really haven't noticed any difference.

You can check the speed your CPU is currently running at using a program like CPU-Z or Notebook Hardware Control.

Most mobile cpu's(except the value line like Celeron and Sempron) will underclock the cpu when you're not using intense apps, this is to save battery life. You can change it to max performance if you want it to run at the highest clock all the time, but it's best to let it manage itself when you're on battery since it does it seamlessly(you'll never notice it clocking itself up or down, it does it automatically when it needs to).
