You gotta love it... Dell lost the 7800 before and replaced it with the x1400 for damn near the same price. Now they bring the 7800 back with an even higher price! LOL

Now that we have the 7900 part numbers, I would just get the x1400 and order a 7900GS/GTX to drop in there instead. =)

Yeah, it's great that I missed the deals yesterday & the day before, it really seems "fated" that I have to wait for the 7800 to be re-released again!!! And there it is now!!! Awesome!

I'd say dell had a lot of complaints about the x1400 in the E1705 and has rushed the 7800 go back. I really hope for anyone who orders one it will not take 40 days.

Does anyone have a price from Dell Spare parts for the 7800Go or the 7900 GS?

That would be the kicker, If we could get the cards from them. I just opened up my x1400 equipped 1705 this morning.. formatted and reinstalled everything and checked in here...

I am not all that worried since its a 40 day wait, even if it was 20 days, I couldn't go anylonger without my notebook, i am cool with having ot upgrade later but the price is still in question...
