Like Go-L computers!

I think it looks great, way to go pctorque!

Looks like a good start, well done. I agree with the comment on taking too much real estate on the front page.
Just a couple of things that I noticed:
On products.php, the promotional images are without links. I assume this is because the update is not finished yet? It's kind of annoying.
I know your support is great, but the "Expert Technical Support" on the bottom nav text links does not have a link. Is this meant to be a joke? LOL
post #25 of 37
The expert tech support was a chat program link we were working on and not sure if we're keeping it on not. There will be more links, features, and products coming. I understand what you say about the front page, but it was made more for a 1280X1024 or 1600X1200 view. Something we'll look at though, we're having fun with it... err so I keep telling Ratha =)

Hello. im 20 years old and am going away to school. i need a computer.ive had to save up for about 10 months now for a computer, so im concerned. ive done a lot of reseach, and i think i am going to purchase a sager 4780s computer 17" 512 RAM 1 dimm 60 hdd 128 ati vid. card. etc..( good?? yes/no?? feedback please). they have the specs i like and the prices are great. BUT, ive read about 50 customer reviews, which have raised a few concerns. one, ide like to hear a honest opinion about sagers pixles. i hear that there are a lot of dead pixle problems.(care to comment about that please) we cant have that!!also. im no computer wiz, so will the sager 4780s be easilly operated by some one who isnt a comper wiz ( OS will be XP home edition)?? ... the quality of the plastics they use... is it poor like dell?? because my friend has a dell ispiron 8600 and he feels like when he is typing he could just push his fingers through the keypad, which is the same review sager got from a bunch of customers... especially problems with the backspace..(squeeking). oh and how about the tech. help... is it as bad as everyone makes it out to be?!? i hope not... please wrtie me back concerning my questions... thanks a lot guys

ummm you might want to create a new post asking those questions, more people will see it and actually respond.

The site definitly does look more professional. I almost didn't buy my computer from pctorque because it didn't look very professional.

It would be nice if some of the links didn't go to these forums though, like the customized paint one. It would be nice if they had their own page.
FWIW, the customized paint link was awesome! I'd done a search, but didn't see that thread and was gonna go default color. Now I'm in the process of convincing my wife that a red/blue lappy would outperform a base-color lappy

I may have become obsessed with the floating robot dog. Reminds me of K-9 from the Dr Who series.

Yeah, I don't know what your stats say, but it could be a good idea. 800x600 and 1024x768 are the standard resolutions for web page design. Though it's probably safe to assume that most of your existing customers have 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 resolution.

One might also observe that the first time viewer is most likely to have the 800x600 or the 1024x768...mostly 1024x768. I think you want to make "both camps" happy with the goal of making a sale.

Good to see the change The "PC" in PC Torque is a little small, IMO, in the logo, but that's a minor nitpick. The Torque part looks tough. Good stuf

Very nice change. I like the improved functionality and graphics and everything! Well done.

Nice job. I always maintained that Ratha was the Cinderella of the organization
