ive had my little baby in my sig for 2 weeks now and i dont stop having problems
i started having problems with my touchpad as soon as i got it. so i turned the setting to heavy touch and palm check thingy. pb was still there. i decided to forget about the thing and start using a mouse cause i was in exams weeks until now. thats why i havent sent it back yet.

today i got to it to see what is going on. problem is that when i have the touch pad on any settings, the sliiiiiiiightest touch anywhere near the touchpad especially on the right side clicks my friken rightbutton and i mean xtreeeemely light touch.
so i installed the latest drivers from synaptics. that didnt work even with settings where id have to smother the touchpad to get it to move (hah not really but max settings). still doing the same thing.

so then i set the touchpad to lefthanded. and yep, you guessed it, it was leftclicking everywhere selecting everything on the screen. it even switched to the program the cursor was on.

moreover (trying to make this coherent), in paralel incident i received the lappy with the piece of plastic between the keyboard and the touchpad a little curved up by about 1.5 mm. one day when playing css for about 5 hours, the touchpad got really hot (as ive seen posted in the forums many times), the piece of plastic urved more and i could stick 3 sheets of paper between the plastic and the actual touchpad. on top of that, now the touchpad actually move up and down on the top right corner by about 1mm.

anyway im sending this baby back on monday. but id like to know if these two problems are related.
also i dont really want to open it up since im sending it back, so maybe somebody has pictures or can make some of the underside of the touchpad.
