Unscrew the one screw for the drive. Using a small flathead screwdriver u need to push out the bracket from the hole where u unscrewed.

Ahhhhhh!!!!

Thanks, that was easy enough. But I've come to the realization that with the 1.3 patch the game crashes to desktop. The drive works great, but what's with this patch. It works for some and doesnt for others. I've tried updating punkbuster, direct x 9.0, tried re-installing everything. Any suggestions before I go insane?

Did u install 1.3 incremaental? Ive heard some people say installing the full 1.3 patch fixes this. Also when the map is done loading do not hit "Join Game' button my experiences id I get the crash to desktop when hitting join button after loading map instead check auto join option and wait or hit esc button. that kinda works for me

Hmmm, thanks. I will try that just as soon as I can have someone find my bf2 discs for me, (I have a broken leg) I had to uninstall it because eventually it would crash every time at startup. The thing is though, sometimes I was able to get into a game and play for a minute or 2 and then it would crash to desktop. So I might just end up using 1.2 patch until they PATCH THE NEW PATCH!!!! LOL!
