IBM T43P Password Bypass???

Thread Starter

Hi All,This is my first time posting in this section and truth be told I am hoping someone here can help me out with a problem. Is there anyway to bypass the power/on suoervisor password on a T43p? Any advice or suggestions will be much appreciated.

Nope.

Switch the motherboard out or send it off to IBM.

There are some eBayers out there that will charge your for a brute-force password hack, but even that is not cheap.

How can I get a no cost set of PC8394 tools to tinker with my R60?
I already paid John in Australia to have my KM6.bin file read and the passwords sent to me but I want to try it myself before I send the file off.
I haven't retreived the KM6.bin file yet but plan on working on it this weekend.
It's a personal satisfaction thing...you know.....being able to do it yourself.

If you find a cheap place to purchase the set of PC8394 tools or can get a schematic to build it please contact me. I have been in search of this item for a couple of weeks now. I need it for my T43 that locked meout of the bios. Thanks and good luck, Ron Baughman rbaughman5@neo.rr.com ss4644@hotmail.com
