I'm trying to use the e-value code @ Dell USA that says:
For a limited time, take up to 40% off your purchase of select specially configured notebooks! Offer valid on Inspiron and XPS notebooks with e-value codes or order codes containing the following sequences only: E1505SP1, E1705SP1 and 710mSP1.
In this case I wanted the 34% off of the Inspiron E1505
So I went to the e-value code page

In that page there are 2 input boxes right, the first input box is limited to 5 characters and the second input box is limited to 20. Now whatever I put in the first input box is negligible but the second input box must be filled with "E1505SP1" to get the 34% off.
I'm a little bit worried on how this works, basically everything I put in the first input box is not important, lets say I put WWWWW and E1505SP1 on the second box, it still recognizes the promo for the E1505.
I'm just worried that my purchase might get cancelled or something because I'm going to buy one right now.
I know this is somewhat a little bit meticulous of me but I'm just trying to be sure. So how do I use it properly?
